In addition to a co-located Senior Care Centre for 80 day care placements, the 266-bed nursing home is located within SJSM Village, a multi- service complex which includes a preschool and church facilities. St. Andrews Healthcare offers a variety of services to meet each patient’s needs. Individualized care is provided by an interdisciplinary team of licensed nurses and certified staff.

As part of the development to accomodate the prevailing needs of the many elderly residing in the vicinity, St. Andrew's Nursing Home at Queenstown, which is a 5-minute walk or stroll from Queenstown Library, opened in April 2017. It is also a 5-minute bus ride from Redhill MRT station or a 10-minute walk from Queenstown MRT station. Offering both long-term nursing care and dementia care, the nursing home has a spacious activity area and four small day area on every ward level for continual engagement with social and recreational activities. Spiritual needs are also cared for, supported by various pastoral groups.

We are dedicated to the physical, personal, social, and spiritual well-being of each resident. My mother moved into St. Andrew’s almost two years ago, and while she was very worried about the change from living in her home to an apartment, we both feel that it was the best decision she could have made. No more worries about maintaining a home by herself, and rather than spending so much time by herself she is constantly engaged with the activities and programs.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Director kept family updated regularly, and implemented common-sense policies to keep the residents healthy. We have a total of twenty two beds in 17 spacious single rooms and three double rooms with en-suite toilets and washbowls. Our double rooms are mostly used for friends or partners, or married couples when both have need for support and nursing input. SANH provide long and short-term residential care for the elderly. Great people both Residents and Staff-Great meals from casual meals in the Bistro to Fine Dining in the elegant Dining Room.
Independent Living
Some residents are also trained with basic vocational skills to equip them in seeking external employment opportunities when they can be discharged from the Home.
The ward fees at SANH will be determined by the level of care required. Eligible residents will enjoy government subsidies ranging from 20% to 75% of ward fees after means-testing. Upon admission, a one-time administrative fee of S$160.50 together with a fixed, refundable deposit of $500 is required. The deposit is refundable upon discharge after payment of all invoices has been made.

Together with another two nursing homes, St. Andrew’s Nursing Home , which are slated to commence operations in 2023 and 2024 respectively, we will provide more than 2,000 beds. To ensure that our residents are meaningfully engaged at the nursing home, a wide variety of activities such as drumming and gardening were curated under the AIC Wellness Support Programme. A fourth nursing home, a joint project between SAMH and St. John-St. Combining all our four nursing homes , SAMH provides a total capacity of 1125 nursing home beds.

Referrals for admission into both nursing homes can be made through medical social workers of acute care hospitals or polyclinics through the Agency for Integrated Care .
